FAQ

Lip Balm FAQs
What makes your lip balms different from others?

Our lip balms are handcrafted in small batches using 100% natural, organic ingredients — no preservatives, no fillers, just pure lip-loving nourishment. We use a blend of high-quality butters, oils, beeswax, and natural flavor or essential oils to give your lips a buttery-smooth feel with long-lasting hydration.

Do your lip balms contain preservatives?

Nope! Our balms are completely preservative-free. Since they’re made with oils, butters, and beeswax (no water), they stay shelf-stable naturally — no chemicals needed.

Are your lip balms vegan?

Our balms contain beeswax, so they are not vegan — but they are 100% cruelty-free and made with ethically sourced ingredients.

Are your flavour oils natural?

Yes! Our flavour oils are cosmetic-grade, phthalate-free, and safe for lips. We also offer essential oil-based options for those who prefer a more natural scent profile.

Why does my lip balm feel slightly grainy?

That texture sometimes happens with natural butters like shea butter. As it cools after melting, shea can crystallize and form a grainy texture — totally normal and still just as nourishing. If this happens, gently warming the balm between your lips or fingers will help melt the grains instantly.

Can I use your lip balm on my kids?

Absolutely. Our balms are gentle and safe for the whole family. That said, we always recommend a patch test first, especially for younger children or those with sensitivities.

How long do your lip balms last?

Most customers find that one tube lasts 1–3 months, depending on usage. Since there are no preservatives, we recommend using your balm within 6–9 months and keeping it away from heat and direct sunlight.

Do they help with chapped or cracked lips?

Yes! The blend of beeswax, nourishing butters, and vitamin E creates a protective barrier that soothes, repairs, and locks in moisture — perfect for dry or wind-chapped lips.

Are your lip balms safe for sensitive skin?

They sure are. We keep things simple and clean. For ultra-sensitive lips, we suggest starting with an essential oil–based or unscented option to play it safe.

Do you offer tinted lip balms?

Not yet — but it's definitely on our radar. Be sure to follow us on Instagram or sign up for our newsletter so you’ll be the first to know when we drop something new.

Beeswax Candle FAQs
What are your candles made of?

Our candles are crafted using a golden blend of beeswax, coconut oil, and either fragrance oil or essential oil. Beeswax burns clean and bright — no toxins, no soot, just a warm, comforting glow.

Why do you use beeswax instead of soy or paraffin?

Beeswax is a premium, all-natural wax that burns longer and cleaner than other waxes. It also releases negative ions that help cleanse the air — it’s nature’s candle magic.

Do I need to trim my wick?

Yes! Trim your wick to about ¼ inch before each use to prevent tunneling, soot, and excessive flickering for a clean, even burn.

Do your candles contain synthetic fragrances?

We use both phthalate-free fragrance oils and pure essential oils, depending on the scent. Each scent is clearly labeled so you know exactly what you're getting.

Why is my candle surface uneven or frosted?

That’s the beauty of natural waxes like beeswax — slight frosting or texture changes are totally normal and don’t affect performance.

How long do your candles burn?

Our 2 oz minis burn for approximately 8–10 hours. For larger sizes, just ensure the entire top melts during your first burn to prevent tunneling and maximize burn time.

Body Mist FAQs
What makes your body mists different?

Our body mists are water-based — not alcohol-based — making them gentler on skin. They're blended with fragrance oil, coconut oil, Polysorbate 80, and Optiphen Plus for a clean, hydrating spritz.

Will it leave a residue on my skin or clothes?

Nope! The lightweight formula absorbs easily. Just avoid spraying directly onto delicate fabrics like silk or lace.

Do I need to shake before use?

Yes — give it a quick shake before each use to mix the oil and water for an even scent distribution.

How long does the scent last?

Body mists offer a lighter scent experience — great for layering and refreshing throughout the day. Reapply as needed to pulse points or hair.

Are these safe for sensitive skin?

Our mists are alcohol-free and paraben-free. For very sensitive skin, we still recommend a patch test to be safe.

Room & Linen Spray FAQs
What are your room sprays made with?

They’re made with distilled water, witch hazel, fragrance oil, Polysorbate 80, and Optiphen Plus. A fresh, clean way to scent your space — naturally.

Can I spray this on my linens or pillows?

Yes! These are safe for most fabrics. We always recommend a quick spot test first on delicate textiles.

Is there alcohol in your room sprays?

Nope — we use witch hazel as a natural alternative to alcohol for a skin- and fabric-friendly formula.

Do I need to shake the bottle?

Yes! A quick shake ensures the scent oils are evenly mixed before spritzing.

Are these safe around kids and pets?

Our sprays are made with gentle ingredients, but we always recommend spraying in a well-ventilated space and keeping out of reach of children and pets.

Car Diffuser FAQs
What’s inside your car diffusers?

Each one contains fragrance oil or essential oil blended with diffuser base oil for a clean, long-lasting scent in your car.

How do I use the car diffuser?

Remove the plastic stopper, screw the cap on tightly, then briefly tilt the bottle to saturate the wooden lid. The scent diffuses through the cap over time.

How long do the car diffusers last?

Roughly 3–5 weeks, depending on temperature and frequency of activation. Warmer weather can increase scent intensity.

Can I refill my diffuser?

Yes! Refills are coming soon so you can top up sustainably and reuse your glass bottle and wooden cap.

Is it safe to hang on my rearview mirror?

Absolutely. Just ensure it’s securely tied and doesn’t touch dashboards or trim to avoid oil residue buildup from natural ingredients.
